About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and promoting client retention through a collaborative effort with field sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in Care 360 Technology Portfolio: Develop in-depth knowledge of our Care 360 technology solutions and provide consultative support to ensure optimal placement and utilization of our solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop a consultative and advisory relationship with key customers for their information technology needs.
  • Process Improvement: Work with IT and Sales teams to improve internal processes and drive growth of Lab and IT revenue through the use of our technology solutions.
  • Sales Team Training and Support: Resource for Sales and responsible for training the sales team both in the field and in formal settings.
  • Sales Strategy and Large Opportunity Management: Involved with sales strategy for the Business Unit and ensure involvement with large opportunities, i.e. IPA's, PHO's, MSO's.
  • Care 360 VOC Issue Resolution: Work closely with local IT to investigate specific Care 360 VOC issues and resolution.
  • Account Management and Revenue Growth: Follow up with sold accounts to ensure proper utilization of Care 360 and revenue growth in the account with an emphasis on promoting electronic orders.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience or technical experience.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in conveying information both in writing and verbally.
  • Able to demonstrate solid communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to use basic selling skills and techniques.
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Software.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is $125,000-$152,000, plus bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including company vehicle and gas card, best-in-class commercial new hire training, commercial-specific leadership development program, and more.
