This role involves providing Technical Sales support while operating independently from a home-based office. Key responsibilities include managing sales efforts, basic marketing activities, maintaining existing client relationships, and exploring new business opportunities.

While most transactions are conducted through distributors, there is an increasing demand for identifying project-specific opportunities where products are integrated into the final systems. The employee will collaborate closely with independent representative firms to enhance sales and marketing efforts within the designated territory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve quarterly objectives.
  • Create a weekly action plan to meet sales targets.
  • Provide regional sales insights and recommendations for company-wide strategic planning.
  • Identify market trends, resolve issues, and review competitive offerings.
  • Participate in regional and national trade shows.

The employee will enhance their industry knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.

Travel within the territory will constitute a significant portion of the role, accounting for over 50% of monthly responsibilities.

The employee will report directly to the company President, who oversees operations from a remote location. Internal support will be available for technical and administrative tasks.

The company provides necessary tools, including laptops with internet access and reimbursement for mobile phone usage, to facilitate daily operations. A vehicle allowance will also be provided for work-related travel.


Essential Duties:

  • Engage with OEMs and end-users, including current clients.
  • Assess territory performance and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage national and regional accounts effectively.
  • Maintain and expand the customer database.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners and provide monthly promotional support.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and support product promotion through various channels.
  • Offer product feedback and recommendations to corporate R&D.
  • Develop relationships with Independent Sales Representatives and Distributors.
  • Provide technical support and guidance.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously in both sales and technical capacities.
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Experience in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Required Experience:

  • Sales experience in the industrial sensor sector.
