About the Role

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the Custom IC/Analog design and validation market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships with key customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, engineering, and customer success, to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a technical sales role, preferably in the EDA or semiconductor industry.
  • Deep understanding of Custom IC/Analog design and validation flows, as well as semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
