Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of digital curriculum and instructional solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue leads through various outreach methods, ensuring timely follow-up with all prospects.
  • Lead Conversion: Exceed sales goals by securing contracts with K-12 public school district leaders, thereby boosting company revenue.
  • Strategic Territory Development: Assess the unique challenges faced by districts in new territories and align appropriate product offerings to meet their needs.
  • Represent ChalkTalk at industry conferences and regional events.
  • Deliver Value to Customers: Act as a trusted consultant to potential clients, understanding their requirements and showcasing how ChalkTalk's solutions can fulfill their educational goals.
  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Conduct research, prospecting, product demonstrations, and oversee the entire sales process until transition to implementation, including opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years in successfully selling educational products or services to K-12 school districts, particularly in Curriculum & Instruction.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and persist in achieving sales goals, with recent cold calling experience.
  • Industry Insight: Comprehensive understanding of the K-12 education sector, including curriculum needs and district challenges.
