Key Responsibilities

As a Property Claims Field Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in managing accidental and weather-related claims for both residential and commercial properties. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting thorough on-site inspections and evaluations of property damages
  • Collaborating with policyholders, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to efficiently resolve claims
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism
  • Documenting findings and preparing detailed reports to support the claims process
  • Investigating and adjusting claims with exposures up to $500,000
  • Assessing coverage and policy terms to validate claims
  • Negotiating settlements within authorized limits while adhering to industry standards
  • Flexibility to work both in the field and remotely, with occasional travel as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in property claims, particularly in field inspection
  • Strong understanding of property insurance policies and claims handling
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in claims management software and tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and navigating various structures
  • A valid driver's license is required
