Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Program CMM machines based on engineering drawings and specifications to optimize production efficiency
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed inspection reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or quality assurance; technical certification or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment, including knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate inspection results and recommendations to production and engineering teams
