About the Role

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is a leading organization in the field of mental health services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Grants Development Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of grants to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Research and identify potential funding sources, including individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
  • Coordinate and implement community outreach strategies and activities to promote the organization's services and events.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases related to grants and funding.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the Development Team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in nonprofit development, community outreach, volunteer management, or a similar field.
  • Database management experience, including managing donor databases.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Excellent organizational, task-management, leadership, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently, with minimal guidance.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial and creative skills, and the ability to recognize opportunities.
  • Clean driving record and current CA Driver's License, or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nonprofit and/or mental health sector experience, with a desire to pursue a career in development or non-profit.
  • Experience supervising volunteers.
  • Spanish bilingual.
