Job Description

Mativ is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team in Windsor, CT. As a key member of our Sustainability & Adhesives Solutions Function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Quality Management System and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with site leadership teams to promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, driving the delivery of site KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with external certifications, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, through regular audits and reviews with management.
  • Support the evaluation and onboarding of new business and product changes, ensuring quality and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Oversee manufacturing product quality, including risk assessments, raw material quality, and product testing/verification.
  • Lead the site supplier quality program, monitoring suppliers, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Responsible for executing customer complaints and CAPA processes, ensuring thorough investigations and corrective actions.
  • Lead a team of 5-15 team members, providing development and performance feedback, and establishing the quality resource plan.
Qualifications:
  • BS in the Sciences, e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a site Medical Device/Component Manufacturing Quality Assurance leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of standards and regulations related to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21CFR:820, and 21 CFR part 11.
  • Experienced Auditor.
  • Proficient with business and technical software, such as ERPs, Minitab, and electronic Quality Management Systems.
