Key Responsibilities:
- Execute first piece and first article inspections to confirm adherence to specifications and standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure continuous compliance and identify potential defects during manufacturing.
- Utilize various inspection tools and equipment for product measurement and testing.
- Interpret and apply relevant standards such as AS9102 and GD&T.
- Document inspection outcomes by preparing reports, summarizing re-works and waste, and entering data into the quality database.
- Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality concerns, enhance processes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as necessary.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing context.
- Expertise in first piece and in-process inspections.
- Strong understanding of AS9102 and GD&T.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using various inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality issues and solutions.
