- Execute first piece and first article inspections to ensure compliance with established specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections to monitor ongoing adherence to quality standards and identify potential defects.
- Utilize various inspection tools and equipment for accurate measurement and testing of products.
- Interpret and apply relevant standards such as AS9102 and GD&T.
- Document inspection findings by preparing detailed reports and entering data into the quality management system.
- Uphold a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and enhance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as necessary.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to quality and efficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection capacity within a manufacturing context.
- Expertise in first piece and in-process inspections.
- Strong familiarity with AS9102 and GD&T standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in the use of various inspection tools and equipment.
- Effective communication skills to relay quality issues and solutions across all levels.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations.
