Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute first piece and first article inspections to confirm adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure continuous compliance and to detect any potential issues during manufacturing.
  • Utilize various inspection tools and equipment for accurate measurement and testing of products.
  • Interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations, including AS9102 and GD&T.
  • Document inspection findings through detailed reports, summarizing re-works and waste, and entering data into the quality database.
  • Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality concerns, enhance processes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing changes to boost quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Expertise in first piece and in-process inspections.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AS9102 and GD&T.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using various inspection tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality issues and solutions.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
