Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Summary
The Test and Control Inspector position is responsible for performing inspections of ground support units at final inspection and prior to shipment. This role reports directly to the Military Production Supervisor and indirectly to the Military Quality Assurance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform formal and informal audits of all material, processes, products, and systems as needed or required.
- Perform final inspection and evaluation of product/units for shipment to our Customers.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Management System to ISO standards.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in active inspection, preferably final product inspection.
- Engineering or technical related experience desired.
- Ability to read blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with basic measuring equipment including testing and record maintenance.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills: MRP system experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Education
- Associate's degree preferred with one year of experience, or 5+ years' experience in inspection and QA related capacities.
