Position OverviewAs Patient Navigators, we serve as a centralized point of access for patients seeking physician and radiology services across various specialties, including Internal and Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management.
Our Patient Navigators excel in fast-paced environments, showcasing strong multitasking abilities, technical proficiency, and a service-oriented mindset. They communicate effectively and consistently uphold a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an outstanding experience for patients, customers, and physicians contacting the Access Center.
- Facilitate patient access throughout the Cooper provider network.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Essential Skills:- Demonstrated passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with Cooper's patient access goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to meet or exceed defined performance metrics.
- Collaborative team player with a focus on resolving customer inquiries.
- Strong analytical skills to identify effective solutions quickly.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in time management and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Internet applications, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with EPIC systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to work varied hours as business needs evolve.
- Ability to use a telephone headset and manipulate office equipment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
