Short Description

Patient Navigators serve as a centralized point of access for patients seeking physician and radiology services across various specialties. This encompasses Internal and Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management.

Patient Navigators excel in dynamic environments, possess strong multitasking abilities, are technologically proficient, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and consistently exhibit a professional demeanor.

They provide an outstanding experience to patients, customers, and physicians who reach out to the Access Center by facilitating patient access throughout Cooper's provider network.

Education Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Special Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience that aligns with Cooper's objectives related to patient access across the organization.

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey relevant information and instructions in a clear and organized manner.

Ability to meet or exceed established quantitative and qualitative performance metrics and expectations for the role.

A collaborative team player with a sincere interest in resolving customer inquiries.

Enjoyment in interacting and working cooperatively within a team setting is crucial.

Ability to assess issues and swiftly determine the most effective resolution; solid decision-making capabilities are necessary.

Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility while navigating a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment is required. Quick learning abilities are essential.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must.

Proficiency in computer usage, including the Internet, Excel, Word, and Outlook, is necessary.

Familiarity with EPIC systems is advantageous.

Willingness to work varied hours and shifts as business needs evolve is required.

Ability to use a telephone headset and manipulate objects such as a pen, keyboard, and mouse is essential.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
