Job Summary:

Scout Energy Management is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our IT department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, managing IT onboarding for new hires, and performing on-site and remote troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Manage IT onboarding for new hires, including setting up computer systems and software
  • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Offer network support and monitor and administer necessary security updates
  • Inventory and track hardware throughout the company
  • Assist in the inventory and tracking of software installations, updates, and usage

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Knowledgeable with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School graduate
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or experience equivalent
