Job Title: Spa & Wellness Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Spa & Wellness Operations Manager to lead our Health and Wellness Operations at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Spa Front of House, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, enforcing policies, managing budgets, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day Health and Wellness Operations and oversee the Spa Front of the Spa.
  • Monitor and enforce Spa and Health Wellness policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance of the Front of House Spa and Health and Wellness personnel.
  • Conduct service standards training consistent with Carillon Miami Wellness Resort, Forbes Travel Guide, and Leading Hotel of the World.
  • Respond to and resolve guest/resident/club members and/or team member complaints in a timely manner.
  • Manage the Health and Wellness services and provide supervision of all aspects of services and inventory control.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge about Spa Services and Health and Wellness by remaining current with trends in the industry.
  • Act as a liaison between Health & Wellness Partners/Practitioners, Wellness Concierge, Wellness Reservations Specialist & Spa Staff and for arriving guests.
  • Assist in developing Wellness Retreat Programs.
  • Assist in renewing Practitioner contracts and providing new contracts to new partners.
  • Maintain proper records of licensing and certificates of insurance.
  • Coordinate training and events with practitioners/partners and Carillon team members.
  • Assist guests in scheduling Health and Wellness services and create customized treatment plans.
  • Assist with vendor set up and vendor relationships.
  • Assist with tours and activations.
  • Add resources, activities into SpaSoft and updates when needed.
  • First line of contact for any guest complaint or challenge regarding Health & Wellness.
  • Create a work environment that promotes positivity, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Comply with Carillon Miami Wellness Resort's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, federal, and state law.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • Must have experience in the field of Integrative Medicine.
  • Knowledgeable in other aspects of the Aesthetic, Wellness, and Anti-Aging Industry.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and work with a diverse group of people.
  • Must be guest-service oriented and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Must have strong written, oral communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be multi-task oriented and able to maintain a multi-leveled records system.
  • Must possess knowledge and be comfortable using Microsoft applications.
  • Must possess a pleasant, outgoing, cheerful demeanor and work together with the team.
  • Must be able to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
  • Must have a flexible schedule.
