Filson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for day-to-day human resources operations and may carry out responsibilities in areas such as employee engagement, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities- Process new hire documents, including onboarding documents, background checks, I-9s, employee discount activation, and adding new hires to ADP.
- Process changes of status for employees in ADP.
- Provide information on benefits and policies during new hire orientations for both Manufacturing and Corporate new hires.
- Help facilitate and track EEO-1 reporting.
- Work closely with the health and safety leader to help facilitate coordination of workers' comp claims and benefits.
- Respond to employee inquiries and work with HRBPs to ensure that resolutions are met with employees.
- Manage the Filson HR inbox.
- Create new hire files for Corporate, Manufacturing, and Retail, adding onboarding documents.
- Process terminations and COSes in ADP.
- Maintain employee files.
- Order business cards for Corp/Retail employees.
- In partnership with HR leadership, put together the framework of the Corp newsletter and HR Comms.
- In partnership with HR leadership, send communications via personal or Filson HR email for corporate announcements.
