Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide critical support to our fulfillment center, ensuring the smooth execution of our people initiatives and providing exceptional internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • HRIS Management: Ensure data integrity in our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including Peoplesoft, and perform daily maintenance tasks such as entering new employees, issuing time cards, and updating employee information.
  • Attendance Tracking: Coordinate with managers to ensure employees are on the correct schedule pattern and crew sheets.
  • Payroll Coordination: Work with station and shift managers to ensure employees are on the correct schedule patterns, complete and distribute reports as needed, and provide frequent customer service regarding payroll, benefits, and scheduling.
  • Administrative Support: Assist internal customers with benefits, orientation, and general inquiries, conduct new hire orientations, and track/report HR metrics such as attendance, attrition, and overtime.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of human resources experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field, or High school or equivalent and 1+ years of case management experience
  • English Intermediate
