Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Client Relations Manager at Holt Construction Group plays a pivotal role in overseeing the scope, estimation, sales, and execution of high-quality outcomes for both new and existing multi-family and commercial clientele. This position requires daily interaction with stakeholders including property owners, adjusters, managers, and project coordinators throughout the Indianapolis area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison with property owners, managers, and maintenance teams.
  • Assess and estimate renovation projects for both residential and commercial properties.
  • Manage contracts, job documentation, estimates, change orders, and completion certificates using specialized software.
  • Identify potential site hazards such as asbestos, lead paint, and mold.
  • Coordinate emergency services after hours, including board-ups and damage restoration.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy while being proactive in communication and responsive to inquiries.
  • Oversee financial aspects including invoicing, draws, and final payments.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in construction, restoration, or estimating.
  • Experience with residential estimates exceeding $50,000 and commercial estimates up to $100,000.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems for managing estimates and proposals.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to sit, stand, walk, and climb as needed.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required.
  • Ability to use hands for handling and reaching.
