YOUR ROLE:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee all customer interactions within your designated region, ensuring the retention of existing business while actively pursuing new opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development and Client Engagement

  • Forge and nurture robust relationships with clients, spanning from executive management to operational staff.
  • Draft comprehensive business proposals and ensure timely contract renewals, following up on necessary documentation.
  • Identify and pursue new business avenues while keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and regional market shifts.
  • Communicate effectively regarding customer activities that may influence sales and service targets.
  • Evaluate client production requirements to recommend optimal equipment configurations and operational parameters.
  • Oversee and assess the performance of representative agencies in the Asian market, providing insights for business enhancement.

Collaboration with Service Department

  • Work alongside the Service Manager to manage staffing, work schedules, and parts orders to meet financial objectives.
  • Provide insights from customer interactions to the service team to enhance machine performance and client satisfaction.
  • Jointly supervise repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment with the Service Manager.
  • Ensure that the service team delivers training and support to clients for effective equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate regular machine assessments and track performance against established benchmarks.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety regulations consistently.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical challenges, implementing necessary solutions.

Administrative Duties

  • Report to the Director of Sales on market conditions, business status, and service activities.
  • Manage lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets for machine forecasts, revenue projections, expenses, and service hours.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assess clients' financial health.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Engage in annual sales meetings.
  • Review and process spare parts orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipping and importation documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Possession of a valid passport for international travel.
  • Access to a major airport is essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing client relationships in a technical field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in:
  1. Managing diverse product lines.
  2. Presenting technical information effectively.
  3. Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.High level of professionalism and integrity.Bachelor's degree required.Adept at analyzing and interpreting business documents and technical instructions.Skilled in delivering impactful presentations on complex topics.Capable of identifying problems, gathering data, and drawing valid conclusions.Experience with MRP/ER systems, preferably JD Edwards.Proven track record in leading process improvements.Strong initiative in problem-solving.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The position may involve domestic and international travel. Employees may encounter varying noise levels and conditions in the work environment.
