About the Role:
The Restoration Supervisor is responsible for directing, coordinating, and executing work activities on restoration projects to meet service requirements and ensure a positive experience for customers. As a key representative of the SERVPRO brand, the Restoration Supervisor embodies the company's commitment to being 'Here to Help'.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a positive customer experience and satisfaction with services rendered.
  • Clearly communicate expectations to Restoration Technicians and oversee their tasks.
  • Coordinate and execute restoration processes as planned while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify safety risks and implement control measures to protect occupants and workers.
  • Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and risk management protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate job documentation to support services provided.
  • Manage labor and material usage on assigned projects while safeguarding equipment and supplies.
  • Provide coaching and training to Restoration Technicians.
  • Collaborate with the Restoration Manager and office personnel regarding project updates and challenges.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment as assigned.
  • Oversee maintenance of facilities and grounds as required.
  • Continuously enhance expertise in restoration services, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the employer.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • IICRC certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
This role involves regularly lifting up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. The position requires prolonged periods of walking and standing, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces (such as crawl spaces and attics). It also involves repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects, as well as working with chemicals and overhead tasks.


While performing the duties of this position, employees may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally to extreme conditions, including heat and unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment may be loud, and employees may need to wear respirators for safety.


Working Hours and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position that often requires extended hours beyond the standard 8-hour workday, including evenings and weekends. Local travel is required, with some potential for out-of-area and overnight travel.
