Position Summary:
The Restoration Supervisor is responsible for directing, coordinating, and executing restoration tasks to meet service demands and ensure a superior customer experience. As a key representative of the SERVPRO brand, the Restoration Supervisor embodies our commitment to being Here to Help.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a positive customer experience and guarantee satisfaction with services rendered.
- Clearly communicate expectations to Restoration Technicians and oversee their work.
- Organize and implement restoration processes as planned, ensuring quality assurance.
- Identify potential safety risks and establish control measures to protect both occupants and staff.
- Adhere to and promote safe work practices and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of job files to support services provided.
- Manage labor and material usage effectively on assigned projects, ensuring proper use of equipment and resources.
- Provide coaching and training to Restoration Technicians.
- Maintain communication with the Restoration Manager and office personnel regarding project status and challenges.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment as assigned.
- Oversee the upkeep of facilities and grounds as needed.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of restoration services, cleaning agents, and equipment.
- Perform additional tasks as required by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- IICRC certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.
- Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds independently, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance. The role involves prolonged periods of walking and standing, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Tasks may include repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects, as well as working with chemicals and overhead tasks.
Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally face extreme conditions such as heat and unpleasant odors. The work environment may be noisy, and the use of a respirator may be necessary for safety.
Work Schedule and Travel:
This is a full-time position that often requires extended hours beyond the standard workday, including evenings and weekends. Local travel is necessary, with potential for occasional out-of-area and overnight assignments.
