Key Responsibilities:
- Directs Maintenance Operations: Oversees the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervises Team Members: Directs the work of group leaders, maintenance technicians, and HVAC maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinates with Other Departments: Works closely with other departments to provide services and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintains Adherence to Company Policies: Ensures that all team members adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Manages Tools and Equipment: Oversees the maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring that they are properly maintained and all preventative maintenance is performed.
- Improves Efficiency and Economy: Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements changes to ensure efficient and economical utilization of materials and resources.
- Administers Employee Performance Evaluations: Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides recommendations for wage increases.
- Establishes and Maintains Good Employee Relations: Fosters a positive and productive work environment, addressing any issues or concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Supports Quality and Environmental Initiatives: Works closely with the quality and environmental teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent with additional specialized education or training.
- Experience: Three to five years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
