Position Overview:

A Lead Plumbing Operations Supervisor (LPOS) utilizes extensive field expertise and managerial capabilities in an office environment. The LPOS will be responsible for overseeing project organization, timeline management, financial forecasting, and budgeting for new plumbing construction initiatives. A strong emphasis on safety, quality assurance, operational efficiency, and overall organizational success is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and document corrective actions as necessary.
  • Supervise site foremen, determine construction methodologies, assess manpower requirements, manage material quantities, and establish work schedules.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure alignment with project drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and verify all layouts and installations of plumbing systems, including rough-ins, finishes, and equipment.
  • Manage material take-offs, create sketches from blueprints, review project specifications, and approve submittals while releasing material requisitions.
  • Conduct inspections of ongoing and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Advise senior management of potential work interferences or scheduling conflicts and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Serve as the final authority on plumbing-related matters escalated from the field.
  • Effectively plan, organize, delegate, and oversee the work process.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Licenses:

  • Successful completion of a field evaluation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Master or Journeyman Plumbing License.
  • Service Technician gas license.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Open to new ideas and inquiries.
  • Highly organized and efficient.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while utilizing a computer.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as required.

$75,000 - $90,000 annually

4 years of experience as a journeyman or master plumber.
