The Electromechanical Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly and integration of various electrical and electronic components into temperature control systems. This position involves collaboration with fellow assemblers and production staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble and prepare products according to specifications outlined in the Job Instruction Sheet.

2. Position and secure hardware components, including backplanes, power panels, and cabinet wiring, in accordance with established guidelines.

3. Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of components and devices.

4. Verify that subassemblies and circuit boards are assembled according to the provided specifications or blueprints.

5. Conduct electrical continuity checks based on general wiring diagrams and electronic layouts.

6. Utilize hand tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to complete daily tasks.

7. Organize and distribute materials and supplies necessary for assembly operations.

8. Inspect incoming materials as required and ensure compliance with quality standards.

9. Manage the receipt process by verifying quantities and matching receipts to shipped items.

10. Interpret work orders, instructions, and processing charts effectively.

11. Address minor troubleshooting issues as they arise.

12. Communicate with supervisors regarding any discrepancies in work times or production timelines.

13. Propose enhancements for productivity and operational methods.

14. Adhere to ISO guidelines and follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent manual dexterity.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety policies, blueprints, and operational manuals.

- Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills in standardized situations.

- Capability to read and interpret blueprints and job instruction sheets independently.

- Familiarity with electronic and mechanical component identification and operation of small hand tools.

Education:

A minimum of a High School Diploma is required, along with six months of experience in electronic or electrical assembly, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
