Acuity is seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design and implement mission-critical cloud solutions for the Department of State.

As an expert in Microsoft Azure, you will play a pivotal role in migrating and managing systems within a secure and scalable environment. Your deep understanding of network security, storage, and identity management will be crucial to ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the migration of on-premise systems to Azure PaaS architectures, leveraging DevOps tools for seamless deployment within a Microsoft Azure for Government (MAG) environment.
  • Implement robust DevOps practices to ensure continuous operations and maintenance of systems within the MAG environment.
  • Develop comprehensive architectural, security, and operational documentation for each supported system.
  • Collaborate closely with security personnel to implement and maintain stringent security measures across all systems.
  • Utilize your expertise in ARM templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of automation strategies for server builds, application deployments, and monitoring across multiple environments (development, testing, production, disaster recovery).
  • Leverage scripting languages and open-source solutions to design and implement automated cloud frameworks for security tool deployment and development.
  • Design and implement comprehensive security measures related to computer networks, software testing, and validation procedures. This includes expertise in cloud security, application security, vulnerability management, machine learning, and AI sandboxing.
  • Contribute to the development of cloud security plans that effectively safeguard company information, infrastructure, intellectual property, and user data against unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.
Qualifications:
  • Possess an active Top-Secret clearance.
  • Hold a certification in Azure DevOps (AZ-400).
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (MS DevOps).
  • Showcase a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices for managing production systems and infrastructure using code.
  • Have five years of proven experience working with PowerShell.
