Job Summary

The Testing Coordinator coordinates and schedules accommodated tests or assessments for students with disabilities while ensuring test integrity and Student Accessibility Center policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day testing operations and accommodations for students with disabilities at three campuses.
  • Develop and update services, policies, and procedures for testing operations and case management technology platform.
  • Train, mentor, and direct the work of proctors, graduate student workers, and final exam staff volunteers.
  • Oversee final exam week logistics, including room reservations, materials, and communications to students, faculty, and volunteers.
  • Receive and schedule exam, test, and quiz requests through Accommodate, maintaining security of tests and materials and academic integrity of the testing operation.
  • Work closely with Accessibility Specialists to ensure students receive proper accommodations during assessments.
  • Ensure overall compliance and academic integrity of the Testing Center in conjunction with SAC staff.
  • Review exam, test, or quiz requests for scheduling and administration purposes.
  • Utilize Accommodate to secure tests and collect instructions for test administration or contact faculty when additional information is needed.
  • Respond to faculty and staff inquiries regarding accommodated exams, tests, and quizzes.
  • Assist students with assistive technology during exams.
  • Document and collect statistical data and prepare detailed reports regarding exam, test, or quiz activity and administration.
  • Earn certification to proctor specialized testing as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in university-wide and in Student Academic Services signature programs, events, and activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and one-to-two years of related work experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with faculty/staff and students with care and professionalism.
