Job Title: Student Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Student Support Coordinator is a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of student outreach and internal and external communications, department operations, and accuracy and documentation within student records. This position requires high attention to detail, comfort with outbound communication, independent judgment, flexibility, organization, and confidentiality.

About the Role:

This is a remote position that may require occasional travel to campus as needed. The Student Support Coordinator will work collaboratively within the department and with many other campus-wide constituent groups and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a central resource for student questions, providing information in accordance with department policy, and routing phone calls to the appropriate individuals as necessary.
  • Monitor and respond to campus inboxes, triaging requests as needed and routing to appropriate support staff.
  • Manage and conduct outbound student outreach in efforts to complete student admission files and academic records.
  • Assist students with contingency, background check, registration questions, and other barriers to persistence.
  • Complete, upload, process (where applicable) administrative forms during start times in collaboration with Student Support Counselors.
  • Manage, input, and track data for various end users, particularly in Excel.
  • Assist in coordination of special projects, events, and/or special activities such as Student Support hiring/training/onboarding and student-focused activities.
  • Support operational functions of the team and larger department.
  • Document all student outreach, discussions, and activities in Campus Vue.
  • Adhere to all internal, federal, Department of Education, and affiliate policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience within student-facing positions and/or higher education field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of student advising, recruitment, or other student-facing experience.
  • Ability to problem solve and utilize campus resources for individuals and groups.
  • Exercises sound, accurate, and informed independent judgment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-discipline and self-motivation to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Compensation and Benefits:

This opportunity is budgeted at $20-21.79 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
