Sleep Testing Coordinator

About the Position

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and physician offices to coordinate the scheduling and completion of diagnostic sleep testing.

Key duties include:

  • Heavy phone work, including inbound and outbound calls
  • Scheduling a minimum of 20 patients per day, requiring heavy outbound phone work
  • Obtaining patient history and clinical data prior to appointment
  • Educating patients on sleep testing, registration, and additional services
  • Verifying insurance online prior to scheduling for compliant billing
  • Communicating with clinical teams to ensure staff availability and access to services
  • Interacting with physicians, insurance providers, and others to address issues and concerns
  • Reporting weekly and monthly information for assigned sites
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year customer service experience
  • Experience in a medical setting preferred
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong multitasking skills and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • High level of organization and accuracy
  • Exceptional telephone communication skills and professionalism

Work Environment

This is a remote position that requires a secure, password-protected internet connection and no concurrent responsibilities during scheduled work hours.
