Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven sales expert to become a vital part of our North American sales division. As a Regional Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on selling, promoting, and showcasing the RIDGID & Greenlee product lines. The ideal candidate should be based in the Los Angeles vicinity. Your role will involve providing unique insights and perspectives that help customers enhance their business operations, aligning their needs with Emerson Professional Tools' exceptional product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy, coordination, and expansion of all utility market sales through direct engagement with customers and collaboration with local ProTools Territory Managers.
  • Work effectively in a matrix-managed environment, offering guidance and support to regional Territory Managers.
  • Conduct field demonstrations, training sessions, and provide technical assistance to end-users and distribution partners.
  • Drive sales of innovative products and solutions to broaden market reach and increase market share.
  • Develop, present, and implement annual business strategies aimed at achieving incremental sales growth.
  • Manage and forecast monthly and yearly sales performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Distributor Partners and End Users.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for products, applications, and pricing strategies within your designated market.
  • Support regional and national initiatives through training and project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in distribution channels, particularly in Electrical, Industrial, and Plumbing sectors.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or a related field; or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven track record in developing, executing, and assessing a Territory Business Plan to drive sales growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting field demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting for end-users and distribution.
  • Ability to drive sales of new products and solutions to expand market presence.
  • Proficient in managing and forecasting sales performance.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and goals.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Distributor Partners and End Users.
  • Expertise in product knowledge, applications, and pricing strategies for your market.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or technical support in B2B sales is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM applications is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive base salary, reflective of local market standards, along with performance-based rewards during our annual review process. The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
