POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to enhance our dynamic and expanding organization. The Territory Sales Manager will be tasked with boosting product sales across a designated area encompassing over 50 carrier and retail outlets. This role involves nurturing partnerships with retail collaborators and field leadership to implement strategic initiatives aimed at elevating sales and expanding market presence for our brand offerings.

Annual Compensation: $66,560 with potential performance bonuses

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance sales performance and market share for each outlet within the assigned region through a holistic strategy that includes direct and indirect sales efforts, training for associates, and influencing store staff at all levels.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with retail partners to disseminate knowledge through training sessions that foster brand loyalty. This includes organizing group meetings, incentives, educational lunches, virtual training, and other strategic initiatives to boost sales.
  • Conduct data collection for insights and daily operations utilizing Mosaic systems. Provide market-level reports that include competitive analysis, feedback on current retail conditions, and opportunities impacting sales and market share.
  • Train and motivate Retail Sales Associates whose primary role is to engage store sales staff and customers regarding products and devices, while building and sustaining relationships both in-store and online.
  • Maintain a highly visible and consistent presence in assigned retail locations.
  • Ensure that product displays in-store align with retailer guidelines and that devices are well-maintained and operational (Level 1 Merchandising).
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 8+ years of combined sales and/or retail experience, with a strong background in retail business and/or wireless sectors.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience overseeing direct reports in a retail or sales environment, with full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Capability to schedule, lead, and document virtual training sessions with minimal assistance and adequate space.
  • Proficient in coordinating and conducting formal and informal training events focused on product features and benefits both in-store and virtually.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proven track record in managing and monitoring performance against assigned goals and KPIs.
  • Experience in gathering and reporting competitive product and service information to management.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with retail partner stores and regional leadership to collaboratively drive incremental sales growth for the brand.
  • Skilled in working directly with store management and teams in a sales-oriented retail setting to identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance product advocacy and sales.
  • Ability to prioritize store visits during peak traffic times to maximize impact and achieve training objectives.
  • Access to suitable space for conducting virtual training sessions.
  • Knowledgeable in analyzing sales and market data to provide insights and solutions for underperforming stores.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with team members, sales associates, retail management, and clients.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple (and often conflicting) demands.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation capabilities.
