POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to enhance our dynamic and expanding organization. The Territory Sales Manager will oversee product distribution within a designated area encompassing numerous carrier and retail outlets. This role involves fostering relationships with retail collaborators and field leadership to implement strategic initiatives aimed at boosting sales and increasing market presence for our brand offerings.

Annual Compensation: $66,560 plus potential bonuses

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance sales performance and market share across each store in the assigned region through a holistic strategy that includes direct and indirect sales efforts, training of associates, and influencing retail staff at all levels.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with retail partners to disseminate knowledge through training, fostering brand loyalty. This includes organizing group sessions, incentives, workshops, virtual training, and other strategic activities to drive sales.
  • Conduct data collection for insights and daily operations utilizing Mosaic systems. Provide comprehensive market-level reporting, including competitive analysis, feedback on retail conditions, and opportunities impacting sales and market share.
  • Educate and influence Retail Sales Associates, whose primary responsibility is to engage store sales personnel and customers regarding products and devices, while building and maintaining relationships both in-store and virtually.
  • Maintain a prominent and consistent presence in designated retail locations within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure in-store product displays adhere to retailer planogram guidelines and that devices are properly maintained and functional (Level 1 Merchandising).
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 8+ years of combined sales and/or retail experience is preferred, with significant experience in retail operations and/or wireless sales.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience overseeing direct reports in a retail or sales environment, with full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Capability to schedule, lead, and document virtual training sessions with minimal assistance and possess adequate space for such activities.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate both formal and informal training events focused on product features and benefits in-store, within the market, and virtually.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proven track record of managing and tracking performance against assigned goals and KPIs.
  • Experience in gathering and reporting competitive product and service information to management.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with retail partner stores and regional leadership to collaboratively drive incremental sales for the brand.
  • Proficiency in working directly with store management and team members in a sales-oriented retail environment to identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance product advocacy and sales.
  • Ability to prioritize store visits during peak traffic times to maximize impact and achieve training objectives.
  • Access to suitable space for conducting virtual training sessions.
  • Knowledgeable in analyzing sales and market data to provide consultation and corrective measures for underperforming stores.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with team members, sales associates, retail management, and clients.
  • Strong judgment, effective problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple (and often conflicting) demands.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
