We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented individual to take on the role of Events Sales Manager, focusing on venues managed by Happier People Management.

In this position, you will be tasked with driving sales growth and generating revenue by identifying, soliciting, and negotiating new business opportunities.

Your main objective will be to cultivate and sustain robust client relationships to optimize sales revenue and elevate our brand visibility.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the company’s ethos, embodying our values and culture, while inspiring enthusiasm and engagement in all interactions, ensuring a positive experience for both clients and team members.

In your capacity as an Events Sales Manager, your focus will be on enhancing revenue through event sales, acquiring new clients, and nurturing enduring relationships with returning clients.


Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary liaison for your clients, grasping their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and follow-ups. Anticipate client needs and proactively resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service and exceed client expectations.

Sales Strategy Development:
Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals. This includes identifying new business opportunities, upselling and cross-selling event packages, and negotiating contracts.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new sales leads within the events sector. Research and target potential clients through various channels, including networking events and referrals. Create customized sales pitches and presentations to highlight our event services and offerings. Qualify leads, engage in prospecting activities, and follow up to convert leads into sales opportunities. Conduct negotiations and finalize deals to achieve or surpass sales targets.

Proposal Development and Presentation:
Craft tailored event proposals and presentations that address the specific needs of prospective clients. Emphasize the unique value propositions of our events and effectively address client concerns.

Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate the terms and conditions of event contracts, including pricing, payment terms, and logistical details. Ensure contracts are advantageous for both parties and align with company policies and objectives.

Event Planning Support:
Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their event goals, preferences, and budget limitations. Work with internal event planning and operations teams to develop comprehensive event proposals and plans. Oversee the execution of events from inception to completion, ensuring all elements meet quality standards and deadlines. Provide on-site support during events, resolving any issues and ensuring seamless operations.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Utilize market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and areas for differentiation.

Customer Feedback and Satisfaction:
Collect feedback from clients post-event to assess satisfaction levels and pinpoint areas for improvement. Leverage client feedback to refine sales strategies, enhance service offerings, and strengthen client relationships.

Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor and evaluate event performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Gather client feedback and use it to enhance future events and services.

Requirements:
4+ years of proven experience in event sales, business development, or a related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships. Familiarity with the events industry and current market trends. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail. Results-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude. Proficient in relevant software tools. Knowledge of the art and fashion sectors, as well as current happenings in the industry.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 USD per year.
