WHAT THIS ROLE WILL ENTAIL

  • Address guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Maintain visibility and control of the atmosphere by moving throughout the work area during your shift.
  • Ensure the venue floor remains tidy, clean, and free of food, debris, and other hazards throughout your shift.
  • Promptly clean up spills and utilize caution signs to alert guests and staff.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in the appropriate containers.
  • Consistently clean and restock areas to meet operational standards.
  • Adhere to housekeeping protocols as outlined in company policy.
  • Ensure trash receptacles are clean, odor-free, and properly lined.
  • Keep dustpans clean and free from debris and odors.
  • Stay informed on all standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings led by the Manager on Duty before the start of each shift.
  • Assist colleagues as necessary.
  • Perform cleaning and dusting tasks throughout the venue.
  • Sweep and mop floors as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms.
  • Report any maintenance needs and safety hazards to your supervisor.
  • Observe and uphold safety standards and practices.
  • Engage in additional general cleaning duties as needed.
  • Carry out related responsibilities as assigned within your job classification.

WHAT THIS POSITION REQUIRES

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in cleaning services or a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.
  • Availability for early morning and daytime shifts.
  • A sense of urgency and effective time management skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Appreciation for diverse cultures, music, and art forms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced work environment.
  • Position involves extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and being on your feet.
  • Must be capable of lifting or moving up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to tolerate loud noises.
