ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in promoting supplier brands within the On Premise sector. Your role will encompass territory management, sales strategies, merchandising, and effective communication to successfully meet company and supplier goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strategic plans to achieve sales and merchandising objectives through detailed analysis and route optimization.
- Conduct daily visits to accounts, assess opportunities, and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations, educate clients on product offerings, and secure prime placements.
- Collaborate with management to oversee inventory levels and track demand changes.
- Meet performance targets for distribution, volume, and supplier brand activities.
- Enhance brand visibility in accounts through effective merchandising and promotional materials.
- Provide outstanding customer service, resolve issues and complaints, and assist with account openings.
- Stay updated on company and supplier initiatives by actively participating in sales meetings.
- Complete all necessary training programs and continuously improve industry knowledge.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve shared objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years in sales or a related field.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
