Job Overview

We are in search of a driven and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Events Sales Manager at Happier People Management. This position entails spearheading sales initiatives and revenue enhancement through the identification, solicitation, and negotiation of new business prospects. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and sustain robust client relationships to optimize sales income and elevate our brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison for clients, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions. Establish and nurture enduring relationships through consistent communication and follow-ups, anticipating client needs and addressing any concerns to guarantee satisfaction.
  2. Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue goals, which includes recognizing new business opportunities and negotiating event packages.
  3. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Seek out and engage potential sales leads within the events sector. Utilize various channels such as networking and referrals to identify prospective clients, crafting customized sales presentations to highlight our offerings.
  4. Proposal Development and Presentation: Create bespoke event proposals and presentations that resonate with prospective clients, emphasizing the unique benefits of our services.
  5. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate event contract terms, ensuring they are advantageous for both parties while adhering to company policies.
  6. Event Planning Support: Collaborate with clients to comprehend their event goals and budgetary constraints, coordinating with internal teams to devise comprehensive event plans and overseeing execution to meet quality standards.
  7. Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Customer Feedback and Satisfaction: Collect and analyze client feedback post-event to assess satisfaction and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor event performance and provide regular updates to management, utilizing feedback to refine future offerings.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in event sales or business development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the events industry and current market dynamics.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive and optimistic demeanor.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools.
  • Familiarity with the art and fashion sectors.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 per year, with compensation determined by various factors including prior experience and qualifications.
