Job Title: Sales and Strategy Lead

About the Role:

This role is focused on driving sales and strategy for Arch Painting's business development team. The Sales and Strategy Lead will work in conjunction with Project Managers to retain and grow existing customers and identify new ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, develop, and close on new opportunities
  • Document lead generation, activity, sales tracking, and analysis through the CRM system
  • Create and update a marketing plan to include target accounts/contacts
  • Identify opportunities, plan, execute, and measure results, including the tracking of leads
  • Actively market to new potential clients/relationships
  • Develop and manage strategies to address business development issues critical to penetrating new markets
  • Perform follow-up with both new and existing accounts while maintaining high customer service and strengthening relationships
  • Administer marketing program/campaign development, execution, management, and analysis
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into portfolio targets
  • Make sales calls to develop and maintain business relationships 80% of the time in face-to-face meetings

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Location: Varies depending on the territory

Requirements:

  • Outside sales experience within the construction industry preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Self-management, deadline delivery, and well-developed organizational skills
  • A balance of teamwork and independent work with effective time management
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills and tools
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful sales and business development
  • Ability to structure and negotiate strategic alliances within the territory
  • Execution of targeted marketing programs and market development strategies
  • Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Recognized as a high-performing seller who can engage with customers, build relationships, and have the business acumen and strategic thinking to identify business challenges and solve them
  • Creative, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Introductory level ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
