Job Title: Program Management Support Analyst

Location: Eglin AFB, FL (Onsite)

Canvas Inc. is in search of skilled professionals to deliver program management assistance to the 780th Test Squadron under the TMAS contract. The 780th Test Squadron serves as the developmental test agency for various munitions within the Air Force. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of USAF and/or USN fighter airborne weapon systems, program management, and DoD acquisition principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis and planning of acquisition strategies for Air Force and Joint weapon development initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning, tracking, and scheduling of program milestones, and contribute to the review of program directives.
  • Develop documentation for test planning associated with emerging weapon systems.
  • Coordinate and participate in method of test reviews, Safety Reviews, and Test Approval Boards.
  • Manage schedule adjustments, aircraft scheduling, and testing coordination with various agencies.
  • Forecast testing assets and range requirements, serving as the primary contact for test development.
  • Analyze key program metrics, assist in program briefings, and evaluate contractor performance.
  • Compile and report testing data and metrics to oversee and manage the testing process.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to track and secure all necessary test approvals.
  • Lead and assemble a team of specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field with over 10 years of experience.
  • Analytical, methodical, and detail-oriented candidates are preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicting resource requirements.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, range, aircraft, aircrew, data, and safety constraints related to developmental testing.
  • Experience in developmental testing within a classified environment is advantageous.
  • Quick comprehension of customer objectives and test requirements to provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing situations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Special Access Programs.
  • Familiarity with MRTFB testing at various locations.
  • Background in hypersonic weapon development and defense acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of USAF and USN operations and weapon systems.
  • Understanding of Air Force and Navy testing processes and DoD acquisition regulations.
  • Ability to develop innovative strategies to meet rigorous testing milestones.
  • Knowledge of DT/OT testing processes.
  • Understanding of the procedures and regulations of the Air Force Test Center and DoD guidelines.

Security Clearance: Candidates must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
