Position Overview:
The OEM Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in achieving designated objectives that contribute to the overall success of the hotel. This individual will focus on effectively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

The OEM Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to meet the revenue and market share targets for one or more properties.

The sales focus may vary depending on the specific property assigned (e.g., Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF).

Management-level associates are expected to dedicate sufficient time each workday to fulfill their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in Hotel Sales is preferred.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.


Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating, persuading, selling, and influencing other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.

Experience in professional selling techniques is desired: initiating, probing, supporting, and closing.

Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office products, is required.

The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial; strong organizational and presentation skills are necessary.

Responsibilities:
Successfully achieve assigned sales and revenue targets as well as solicitation call objectives.


Proactively engage in solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.

Enhance existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.

Monitor and assess trends within your market segment.

Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Adhere to established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and sales metrics.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's operations and policies as well as applicable departments.

Maintain a strong presence in local community and industry organizations as applicable.

May assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.

Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
