About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven professional to join our team as an Account Manager. This individual will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our relationships with clients, providing exceptional account support, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion and upselling to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product range and industry trends to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to orders and deliveries, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Attract potential customers by responding professionally to product and service questions, providing information about other products and value-enhancing services.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through follow-up and interaction with clients and sales representatives.
  • Complete follow-up communications with clients on order and payment status to ensure timely resolution.
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customer concerns, identifying the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure full resolution.
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations of potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities and related risks, assess the situation, and propose action.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and create tailored e-commerce solutions.
  • Manage the fulfillment process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with warehouse contacts to ensure timely issue resolution in areas of total inventory, substitutions, and fulfillment.
  • Track and manage customer sample requests to meet critical meeting dates.
  • Act as a liaison between key buyers and internal teams.
  • Navigate multiple customer web portals.
  • Process orders and manage data via EDI platforms.
  • Proactively evaluate and confirm customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and shipped according to customer guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
  • Some college studies with a Business major or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in managing account relationships via phone and email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Positive attitude towards client interaction with problem-solving focus.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Desire to listen, analyze data, and resolve conflict.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, such as X3, is a strong plus.
