Position Overview:
This role serves as a vital support function for the client service requirements of Account Managers (AM) or Account Executives (AE), with a clear trajectory towards becoming an independent Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Processing Duties:
    1. Manage policies and endorsements for a specific portfolio of clients.
    2. Document DEAD/LOST activities in accordance with established procedures.
    3. Conduct audits and process findings accordingly.
    4. Handle direct notices of cancellations and reinstatements as per workflow guidelines.
  2. Renewal and Rewrite Tasks:
    1. Execute the RNPR process, including Statements of Values (SOVs) and drivers' lists, as directed by AMs.
    2. Calculate Replacement Cost Estimators when necessary.
    3. Prepare Summaries of Coverage, including review questionnaires for client consultations.
    4. Engage in client review meetings or receive debriefings on discussions.
    5. Verify renewal accuracy using Renewal Manager.
    6. Assist in the renewal process by gathering loss runs, previous years' applications, and coordinating updates with Risk Consultants.
  3. Client Requests:
    1. Process change requests as directed by AMs, ensuring Epic applications are updated accordingly.
    2. Obtain quotes for straightforward changes as needed.
    3. Manage insurance verification requests and issue necessary documentation.
    4. Develop billing breakdowns as required.
    5. Submit claims as instructed by AM.
    6. Compile claims analysis as necessary.
  4. Support Functions: Provide backup for account support tasks within the department to maintain workflow efficiency.
Training:
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of carrier products and participate in carrier meetings.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients under the direction of AMs, which may involve returning calls or clarifying coverage details.
  • Respond to underwriter inquiries as directed by AMs, including providing requested information.
Performance Expectations:
  • Maintain follow-up timelines of ten days.
  • Prioritize tasks with guidance from AMs/AEs.
  • Thoroughly document electronic files.
  • Utilize the agency's latest technology effectively.
  • Collaborate with Account Technicians on processing inquiries.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  1. Exhibit a proactive attitude and a willingness to assist.
  2. Possess a valid agent's license.
  3. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
  4. Have advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, and navigate agency technology with ease.
  5. Communicate professionally and accurately in writing.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma required.
  2. Preferred: College education or equivalent experience in the insurance field.
