Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting and Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting and financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of financial tasks and projects.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's assets.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience with accounting and financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in not-for-profit and/or healthcare arenas.
  • Skills: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, experience with financial planning and analysis, and strong leadership skills.
