Position: Financial Accountant

Duration: 4 Months + Potential for Extension

Location: Toledo, OH

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

  • Ideal candidates should possess experience in journal entry postings and account reconciliations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Interviews will be conducted onsite.

  • The Financial Accountant role is integral to supporting various Operations Accounting functions.
  • This position collaborates closely with Accounting Leadership and Business Units to facilitate the successful execution of Operations Accounting objectives through:
  • Ensuring precise and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Managing ongoing accounting for derivatives and treasury transactions.
  • Assisting in the analysis of financial statements and clarifying variances.
  • Maintaining a robust control environment.
  • Additionally, the Financial Accountant will contribute to project initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Throughout all responsibilities, the Financial Accountant will exemplify effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to the success of Dexian.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Comprehensive financial and business insight.
  • Strong analytical and accounting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, BI, or similar systems is essential.
