Position: Financial Accountant

Duration: 4 Months with Potential for Extension

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three days a week.

  • Candidate must possess experience in journal entry postings and account reconciliations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.

Role Responsibilities:

  • The Financial Accountant will assist in various Operations Accounting functions.
  • This position collaborates closely with Accounting Leadership and Business Units to ensure the successful achievement of Operations Accounting's objectives through:
  • Accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Management of ongoing accounting for derivatives and treasury operations.
  • Support in analyzing financial reports and clarifying discrepancies.
  • Maintenance of a robust control environment.
  • Additionally, the Financial Accountant will contribute to project initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Throughout the role, effective communication, teamwork, and dedication to the company's success are essential.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Comprehensive financial and business insight.
  • Strong analytical and accounting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, BI, or similar software is essential.
