Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business-to-business (B2B) accounts, developing business relationships with new and existing customers, and driving sales growth in our territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts of existing customers, including the sale of flooring products, merchandising systems, and programs.
  • Develop new accounts and lines of business to achieve sales targets and territory budgets.
  • Manage critical customer relationships with business owners and key decision makers.
  • Communicate UCX pricing strategy and product lines to customers.
  • Develop and manage credit relationships with portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution.
  • Resolve customer-related issues and direct problem-solving activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience or B2B sales experience with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Preferred experience in the flooring industry, construction, building supplies, home furnishings, or beverage distribution.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Superior customer service and relationship skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within designated sales territory.
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble marketing displays and change out periodically with new marketing tools, samples, and products.
  • Documented experience using MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
