Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating the operations of the hospital across departments.
- Providing leadership and direction to nursing staff during emergency situations.
- Assessing staffing needs based on patient census and acuity.
- Ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Acting as a clinical resource for complex patient care issues.
- Managing patient admission and discharge processes to optimize care delivery.
- Promoting a culture of exceptional patient experiences and accountability among staff.
- Collaborating with management to enhance staff productivity and resource utilization.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in clinical practice, with at least 3 years in a management capacity, and 1 year as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor.
Education:
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Completion of or active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact RN license.
- BLS certification as per hospital policy.
- ACLS certification as per hospital policy.
