Role Responsibilities

As a House Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of hospital functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and coordinating the activities of various departments within the hospital.
  • Providing leadership and direction during emergency situations.
  • Assessing staffing needs based on patient census and acuity.
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and policies.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for complex patient care issues.
  • Managing patient admission and discharge processes to optimize care delivery.
  • Promoting an exceptional patient experience and holding staff accountable for high standards.
  • Collaborating with management to ensure effective resource utilization and financial performance.

Qualifications Required

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in clinical practice, with at least 3 years in a management capacity, and 1 year as a House Supervisor.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Completion or active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact Registered.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications as per policy.
