Key Responsibilities

As a House Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating hospital operations across departments.
  • Providing direction and support to nursing staff during emergencies.
  • Assessing staffing needs based on patient census and acuity.
  • Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for complex patient care issues.
  • Managing patient admission and discharge processes to enhance care efficiency.
  • Promoting a culture of exceptional patient experiences.
  • Collaborating with management to optimize staff productivity and resource use.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice, with at least 3 years in a management role and 1 year as a House Supervisor.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or in progress.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact RN license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications as per policy requirements.
