Position Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Partner Marketing Manager (PMM) to enhance visibility, stimulate demand, and generate revenue with Global System Integrator (GSI) or Multi-national SI/Consulting Partners across the Americas.

Role Responsibilities
This role entails overseeing the strategic marketing initiatives for 4-6 major System Integrator, Reseller, or Consulting partners. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to formulate strategic, all-encompassing marketing plans at the highest organizational levels. A solid background in marketing with a diverse range of channel partners is essential.

The primary objectives for this position include collaborating with the dedicated sales team to design, develop, implement, and assess successful marketing programs that align with account goals. The candidate will be responsible for driving partner-generated leads, optimizing marketing funds, and attracting new clientele.

Key Duties
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating and executing impactful, data-driven marketing programs in collaboration with large consulting partners. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and managing the strategic marketing plan for the partner.
  2. Creating a comprehensive annual marketing strategy that aligns with GTMS, partner marketing, and global marketing teams.
  3. Planning and executing demand generation programs with the partner to attract new customers, which includes integrated campaigns, events, and digital marketing efforts.
  4. Working closely with the GTMS organization to comprehend their priorities and assist them in achieving their objectives through targeted lead generation activities.
  5. Participating as a key stakeholder and business partner with the Americas GTMS, partner marketing, and field marketing leadership.

GSI Responsibilities
The Senior Partner Marketing Manager will also be tasked with developing a regional partner strategy with GSI partners that aligns with global marketing, business, and sales priorities. This includes executing demand generation activities alongside GSI partners to help them acquire new customers, retain existing clients, and increase revenue from AWS services.

The candidate will serve as the primary marketing liaison for these strategic partners, engaging in regular team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions. Responsibilities include educating partners on AWS marketing tools, resources, and MDF usage.

Collaboration and Relationship Management
In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with AWS partner sales, marketing, PR, and business development teams. The ideal candidate will possess innovative marketing ideas combined with extensive analytical and data-driven customer demand generation experience in a technology or Global System Integrator environment.

Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial, as the candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously while navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. They will work closely with partners and the partner sales team to identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to market jointly.

Conclusion
This role demands exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, as the candidate will engage with Product Marketing, Global & Regional Partner Marketing Teams, AWS Sponsorship Teams, and the Partner Sales and Solution Architect organization to execute marketing programs for the Americas. The candidate will represent partner and customer needs to various internal stakeholders and share best practices across regions.

Vendor Management
The candidate will also manage external vendors to execute programs and achieve objectives, including but not limited to managing Account Based Marketing programs and broad-scale partner initiatives.

Strategic Marketing Development
The expectation is to develop and manage the Americas strategic marketing plan to drive demand for AWS solutions among new and existing customers, particularly in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
