As part of our US-based team, you will assume full responsibility for establishing and guiding the Fintech sales division. Your role will involve cultivating and converting leads from our extensive pipeline of fintech opportunities at Ascenda, while also identifying fresh targets poised to leverage our premium rewards offering.

Join us as a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Toronto)

Ascenda is looking for an experienced product marketer with depth of experience in planning and executing go-to-market strategies across all marketing channels. You'll play a pivotal role in translating product strategy into powerful product marketing narratives that will deliver meaning and value for customers, while optimizing for low-cost acquisition for the business. You'll create and execute product led growth initiatives, product/feature launch campaigns and own the story telling of our products to our leads/customers across our owned properties , email, etc.).

The Role

  • Own the go-to-market launch process for new products and key components of the Ascenda Rewards platform, providing strategy, messaging, and coordinating structured launches that drive adoption and sales success.
  • Work closely with Product Managers on all aspects of product launch, ensuring key materials are provided, knowledge is shared, and product teams are supported to ensure product success in the market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Ascenda product and features, and act as the subject matter expert on key product areas. Use this knowledge to provide messaging, value propositions, benefits, and material to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Be responsible for maintaining current and best-in-class representation of our products, managing updates to design and architecture, crafting copy across all our owned channels (website, email, social)
  • Be the expert on the competition and global market as it relates to product positioning, channel strategy, and marketing messaging to further optimize Ascenda's product marketing and competitive edge
  • Own our SEO initiative generating high intent organic inbound traffic and making sure is conversion optimized
  • Exploring the use of AI to streamline content creation processes and free up time for higher-level thinking.

Your Impact

You are a self-starter, curious and data driven individual with prior product management or marketing experience at a B2B seed -> series B startup, preferably in the fintech space.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of related product marketing experience within a high growth environment. Bonus: prior experience in growth product manager or product management
  • A history of significantly exceeding performance goals when leading and executing a product marketing function at a B2B enterprise or SaaS company (Preferably in fintech space targeting the following buyer personas: C-suite, head of product, head of strategy, head of cards/banking)
  • A track record of upward career progression and significant individual contribution to the company's growth.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven with demonstrated experience defining integrated go-to-market roadmaps across all marketing channels
  • Demonstrated experience building/optimizing high performance homepages, landing pages, and signup/onboarding workflows.
  • Experience testing pricing models/tiers (freemium, enterprise, usage based, etc.) to optimizie conversion
  • Strong communicator and facilitator with the ability to work cross-functionally and bring different perspectives together
  • Experience in directing and shaping marketing concepts and content -- from headlines and tone of voice, to visual direction and design
  • Adaptable to new and fast-changing environments with a proven ability to succeed through ambiguity and stretch your potential
